Chicken BBQ, Plant Sale, & Book Sale

Saturday, April 23, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Join us at the library, rain or shine, for chicken barbeque, a plant sale, and a book sale! BBQ tickets are now available for sale at the library. Click here for details.

Book Drive

The Friends of the Quarryville Library need your donations of clean, salable books for their book sales! Drop off your books outside the library on Saturday, April 2nd, any time between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Your donated items help raise funds to support the library!

Crochet 101!

Every Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. Are you interested in crocheting but need some help getting started? Our new director, Susan, is leading beginner crocheting lessons! Ages 12+

Afternoon Book Club

Wednesday, April 13, 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Join us for a monthly gathering of book lovers! This month we will be discussing A Trick of the Light by Louise Penny.

Registration is requested so that we may have sufficient copies of the month’s book selection available.

Sunset Book Club

Tuesday, April 12, 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Special Longwood Gardens Program! We’ll discuss the Community Read book, The Songs of Trees, by David Haskell. You will also have a chance to win Longwood Gardens passes! Adult program, older teens (16+) are welcome. Click here to register.

The Knitting & Crocheting Group

meets weekly at the library on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. This group is open to interested knitters, crocheters, and other crafters of all ages.

The Friends of the Library are accepting donations of clean, salable books on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.
