It’s spring, and time for another Longwood Gardens Community Read! This year, there are 3 book selections:
- The Tree Lady: The True Story of How One Tree-Loving Woman Changed a City Forever by H. Joseph Hopkins, with illustrations by Jill McElmurry, a picture book biography for children.
- Women in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World by Rachel Ignotofsky, an illustrated biographical anthology for older children and tweens.
- Lab Girl by Hope Jahren for teens and adults.
The Quarryville Library is holding four special events: two book clubs, a partner program with the Delaware Nature Society, and a story time.
All three books can be borrowed from the library.
More information can be found below. You can register on our event calendar.
