The Friends of the Library are accepting donations of clean, salable books on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.

Winter Clothing Drive
Drop off like-new or handmade hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves at the collection box in the library! All donated items will be given to the Solanco Food Bank. |

The Solanco Food Bank is excited to offer Christmas boxes again this year. If you’d like to donate items for these boxes, please see the list below. Items will be collected through Wednesday, December 14. If donating perishable items, please make sure they are dated past Christmas Day.
- Ham or ham steaks
- Turkey gravy
- Bag of baby or regular carrots
- 1 bag potatoes or bag of frozen shredded hash browns
- 1 bag shredded cheddar cheese (16 oz)
- Sour cream (8 oz)
- Onion
- Butter or margarine
- Graham cracker crust or box of graham crackers
- Chocolate pudding
- Whipped cream
Donations may be dropped off Mondays through Thursdays from 9 am to 4 pm and Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm.
