BBQ, Book Sale & Plant Sale

• Chicken BBQ: Hungry? We can help! A donation of $8 includes BBQ half chicken, potato chips and a bottle of water. Consider purchasing advance tickets (available at the library) if you want to be sure there’s chicken left for you! We will also have whoopie pies for sale! “Barbeque cooked by the chicken masters of Wakefield Lions Club with over 30 years of success.”
• Book sale: Need something new to read? Visit the library lobby and the Pennington Room to find a book or two (or a whole bag full!)
• Plant sale: Getting ready for spring? Look no further! We will be holding a sidewalk plant sale with a variety of plants for your flowerbeds, garden, or house.

This event will be held at the library, rain or shine. We are so grateful for the library board members, the Friends of the Library, and all the other volunteers who are helping with this event, the Wakefield Lions Club members who are volunteering to prepare the chicken, and the local greenhouses who are donating plants.
