There are several famous Supreme Court cases that have single-handedly changed the lives of Americans since the country’s founding. Many decisions arising from the Supreme Court have altered women’s rights, race relations, freedom of speech and more. Join local history expert, author, and retired principal Dr. Robert Frick as he takes us through one notable court case per week for a total of six sessions.  An extra week has been built into the schedule to allow for weather cancellations.

February 18 – Marbury v. Madison

February 25 – Dred Scott v. Sandford

March 4 – Plessy v. Ferguson

March 11 – Brown v. Board of Education

March 18 – Double feature! Engel v. Vitale and Abington Twp. v. Schempp

March 25 – United States v. Nixon
