Celebrate Pollinator Week at the library with this special storytime by Penn State Master Gardener Trish! Along with our stories, songs, and dancing, each child will be given a packet of native wild flower seeds to take home. This family-friendly storytime is best for ages 3-6, siblings and other family members welcome.
Registration is requested; walk-in families will be accommodated as space permits. Please register all who are attending.
June 19-25 is Pollinator Week and the Master Gardener program is talking about pollinators all month long! Raising awareness about the importance of pollinators is our goal, as their activity is critical to food production. Many of our plants are dependent on pollinators for their survival. Pollinators include bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, wasps, moths, beetles, flies, and in some places even bats and lizards.
