C. X. Carlson Cultural Room, Patio

Join us for a special visitor – Sherry Watson from the Penn State Master Gardener’s program! Join us as we read a book about bees and learn the honey bee “waggle dance.” Each child will receive seed packets to grow native wildflowers. This family-friendly storytime is best for ages 3-6, siblings and other family members welcome.

Registration is requested; walk-in families will be accommodated as space permits. Please register all who are attending.

June 20-26 is Pollinator Week and the Master Gardener program is talking about pollinators all month long! Raising awareness about the importance of pollinators is our goal, as their activity is critical to food production.  Many of our plants are dependent on pollinators for their survival.  Pollinators include bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, wasps, moths, beetles, flies, and in some places even bats and lizards.
