1:40 PM - 2:00 PM
Registration is required for this event to allow us to prepare adequate crafts and treats! Please register each participating child. You do not need to register adults or non-participating children (infants, teens)…unless they want crafts and a bag of candy too! Since this event is being offered outside the library, weather conditions may require us to reschedule. We will post any weather-related cancellations on our website, and registrants will be notified by email.
Appropriate for young children from 2 – 8 with caregiver. We ask that patrons stay in family groups to walk the pumpkin path, maintaining distance and limiting to one group per table. Face coverings are appreciated – the more creative the better!
Come “walk the pumpkin path” with us this year! We’ll have an outside event that’s unique for these times! Costumes are not required to participate, but we love to see our youngest patrons enjoying the benefits of pretend play by dressing up! Three 20 minute sessions will be offered – please choose the time that best fits your schedule!
Plans are still evolving, but you can expect:
“Take and Make” Crafts for all ages! – These will be pre-packaged and appropriate ages will be marked.
A modest pack of sweets and treats will be distributed in pre-packaged bags for all young patrons. We will have nut-free options in designated bags.
Wear your best dress up for the parade…we’ll have a photo backdrop for you to take a picture of your child or family! If you want to send them to us we’ll happily post them on our social media with your permission!
There will be goodies for sale if you’re able to support the Library! Purchase some baked goods and/or children’s books from our online used book store. Sales are cash only and most items are priced at $1 or $2, so bring $1 bills to minimize contact. Purchase is not required to participate in this event.
