Rocks are a Blast from the Past

Thursday, June 21st 2018

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

What is a rock and how are they formed. Learn about the difference between a rock and mineral, and how rocks create an earthquake.

Several audience members will make toothpaste for rocks: allowing everyone to taste (if they wish too!).

Samples of rocks, minerals and fossils will be used during the show.

Participants will also create an earthquake on our seismograph. Includes a take-away Pennsylvania Fossil.

Bring camera, and take a picture of yourself with replica of a real T-Rex footprint.

Presented by Jones Geological Services.
