10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

The Quarryville Library is offering a new monthly series of STEM activities! STEM, short for Science Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM-based programming is all about getting kids and families excited about math and the sciences.

Thank you to the Wakefield Lions Club for funding this STEM program!

Student’s carefully assemble a balloon powered car to demonstrate Newton’s third law of motion followed by distance trials to test the design of their car.

These monthly programs are hands-on, using kits that attendees get to keep at the end!

Best for children ages 8 – 12 years of age.

Limited to 16 participants, so registration is preferred. Walk-ins welcome as class size allows.
