VITA Tax Assistance

The United Way of Lancaster County’s VITA program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) will be providing free tax preparation for individuals with a household income of $60,000 or less. To check out the requirements, visit vita.uwlanc.org. To schedule an appointment, call 211 (appointments may be made beginning January 2nd, 2023). Last year volunteers helped save $2.3 million in tax preparation fees for low-income community members and generated $16 million in tax refunds for county residents.
