Workin’ on the Railroad

Presented by the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.

Instructors use a portable model train layout and railroad artifacts, like tools and clothing items, to explore various railroad-related jobs. While discussing the story of railroading in Pennsylvania and the jobs performed by railroaders, instructors pass around various objects relating to those stories. Model trains, photos and other visual aids will be used to lead the discussion.
