Trivia Night!

Friday, March 18, 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Enjoy a night of trivia at the library after we’re closed! We welcome back Quiz Bowl veteran Phil Gruber as he challenges how much we know. The Supreme Court of the U.S. Six Decisions that Changed America

Fridays, 1:00 – 2:00 pm.

Sunset Book Club

Tuesday, March 8, 6:30 – 7:30 pm. This month we will be discussing State of Terror by Louise Penny and Hillary Rodham Clinton. Adult program, older teens (16+) are welcome. Click here to register.

Every Wednesday in March, from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. Are you interested in crocheting but need some help getting started? Our new director, Susan, is leading beginner crocheting lessons! Ages 12+

Join librarian and local history enthusiast, Keith Greenawalt, on a whirlwind tour of regional museums and historic sites – many of which can be accessed for free with our Museum Pass program! Book Drive

The Friends of the Quarryville Library need your donations of clean, salable books for their book sales! Drop off your books outside the library on Saturday, April 2nd, any time between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Your donated items help raise funds to support the library!

Afternoon Book Club

Wednesday, February 9, 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Join us for a monthly gathering of book lovers! This month we will be discussing The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff.

Registration is requested so that we may have sufficient copies of the month’s book selection available.

meets weekly at the library on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. This group is open to interested knitters, crocheters, and other crafters of all ages.

Booster vaccination clinic

Wednesday, March 2, 3:30 – 6:30 pm

The Quarryville Library is collaborating with Penn Medicine/Lancaster General Health to offer a drop-in booster vaccination clinic for adults and children 5+. There is no charge or insurance requirement.

Book donations

The Friends of the Library are now accepting donations of clean, salable books and DVDs on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.

The Solanco Food Bank is currently in need of the following items:

  • Baby wipes
  • Salad or Canola oil
  • Nissan cup noodles
  • Lance snack crackers
  • Rice Krispy treats
  • Loaves of bread
  • 8 individual pack cereal
  • Snack bars
  • Tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • Applesauce snack pack
They will be giving out Easter meals on Tuesday, April 12th.
Sign-ups begin on March 1st.
