Thursday, March 30, 4:30 – 5:30 pm. Do you want to learn how to make black gold? Naturalist Lisa J. Sanchez will help you turn your vegetable scraps, yard waste, coffee grounds and other biodegradable items into usable compost. Tuesday, April 11, 6:00 pm. Adam Zurn with Uncharted Lancaster will be appearing at our library with a customized presentation on indigenous petroglyphs that you can find on our local trails. This program will open for registration on March 15, and is predicted to fill quickly. Appropriate for all ages!

Springtime Walking Book Club!

Millersville University is partnering with us to provide FREE computer and technology help. Drop in on Tuesdays​ (10-3:30), Wednesdays (12-6), or Thursdays (12-6) for assistance customized to your individual needs!​

VITA Tax Assistance

Volunteers from United Way’s VITA program are providing free tax preparation at the Quarryville Library for individuals with a household income of $60,000 or less. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 211 or 1-855-567-5341. Visit vita.uwlanc.org to see all the requirements.

  • Canned salmon

  • Diapers (size 5 or 6)
  • Apple sauce (23 oz.)
  • Fruit cocktail/peaches/pears (no sugar added)
Easter meal items (needed by 3/29)

  • 2 boxes scalloped potatoes
  • Ham/ham slices or Giant gift card
  • 2 cans green beans
  • French fried onion rings
  • Mushroom soup
  • Yellow cake mix
  • Box light brown sugar
  • 1 can pineapple slices (20 oz.)
  • 2 cans beets
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1 box margarine or butter

Donations may be dropped off Monday through Thursday, 9 am – 4 pm and Friday, 9 am – 12 pm.
