The library art committee is hosting a show called Needlepoint Gems from March 3, 2018 – April 17, 2018.
This will be an open show, consisting of quality works of varying types of needlework from artists in our extended community. The pieces will hang in the Carlson Room at the library from March 3 through April 17. A community reception with refreshments will be given on Saturday, March 3, from 1 – 3 pm, and is open to all who wish to attend.
The artist is welcome to sell works through the show, but this is not required. All sales will be handled by the artist.
Submission Requirements: Works are expected to hang until the end of the show. Each work must be ready to hang safely without possibility of falling. Size limit is 48″ by 48″. Please contact us if you are unsure if your piece will fit in the display, as exceptions may be made. Please be aware that the room is used for children’s programs.
