Registration is required for most of our youth programs except where noted. Registration opens for each month on the 15th of the previous month. Programs with insufficient registrants will be canceled; please monitor your email for updates.

Summer Reading ends August 10!

The Summer Reading program is almost over! Bring your child’s completed reading log or show your Beanstack app by August 10 to receive your prizes.

Tween/Teen Book Club

August 1 at 11 am. For ages 13-17. Come with a book you are currently reading! Meet fellow book lovers and share, accept challenges and enjoy snacks! Registration required.

Water Olympics!

August 7 at 1 pm. For ages 3-8 with parent or caregiver. Teams will solve challenges using water and learn about water molecules, why water molecules act as they do, and how they affect all things around them. Registration required.

Adventures in Chemistry!

August 13 at 4 pm. For ages 5-15. Scientists from Eurofins Lancaster Labs will amaze us with all the adventures you can take with liquid nitrogen! We may get to try a treat that is worth “screaming” about! Registration required.

Musik Time!

August 15 at 10 am for babies/toddlers and 11 am for preschoolers. Musik Time is an interactive music experience for early childhood and is designed to target and promote healthy developmental skills, while still being fun and engaging. Please register!

August 21 at 10:30 am. For ages 2-8 with parent or caregiver. Sandy Asher will present her latest book, Sophie’s Monster Goes to Shul, along with songs and crafts. Afterward, Sandy will be available to sign copies of her books for purchase. Registration required.


Owls elusive creatures of the night

Owls: Elusive Creatures of the Night!

August 22 at 6 pm. All ages. Learn all about these fascinating birds – their life cycles, nesting habits, and special features. Program presented by Lancaster Parks and Recreation. Registration required.
