Friends of the Library

Who are the Friends of the Library?

The Friends of the Quarryville Library is a non-profit organization of community-minded library lovers who conduct fundraising events to support the library’s needs for materials, equipment and programs by volunteering their time for projects, activities and events. Like you, they appreciate the value of a fine public library and work to improve the quality and scope of library services so others can enjoy the same privileges. And again like you, they are committed to encouraging the love of the written word and alleviating illiteracy.

Here is more info on the Friends and how to join.

When do the Friends meet?

The Friends meet in the C.X. Carlson room at the Quarryville Library. Meetings are open to everyone and are usually fun and informal. We are a warm, welcoming group! Check the library event calendar for meeting dates.
