Summer Reading 2026

The Summer Reading program begins on June 6, 2026. We will offer the program in two modalities, through the Beanstack app and using paper forms. Along with the county-wide prizes and drawings, the Quarryville Library will once again provide a new book to each finisher in addition to other prizes and drawings! This year’s Summer Reading program runs through August 15, 2026.

Not sure what to read?  Ask a librarian for reading suggestions!

We want to thank our generous 2026 local sponsors (Quarryville Lions Club, Maplehofe Dairy) in addition to the county-wide sponsors, for supporting youth in the Southern End of Lancaster County.

Special Events and Summer Reading Activities can be found on our event calendar, where you can also register for programs. Check the calendar frequently, as we often add new programming!

Also, consider registering your child for GO Lancaster! when you sign up for Summer Reading 2025, either online or in person at the library. You can pick up your GO Lancaster! Wayfinder guidebook and etching sheet at your local library. Adults can participate in this program as well (must be on the Beanstack app, no paper option)!
