The Friends of the Library are accepting donations of new or gently used books and puzzles on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. Donation drop-off times will pause during January and February.

The Friends of the Library are looking for help as they support the library by holding book sales and an annual holiday cookie and gift sale, operating the bookstore, running food services during Go-Fore Golf, and more. Any time you can offer is greatly appreciated! Click here for more information.

Looking for a way to help the community? Solanco Neighborhood Ministries is currently in need of the following items:
Food Bank needs:

  • toothpaste
  • tooth brushes
  • packs of bar soap
  • baby wipes
  • diapers (sizes: 3,4,5,6, and pull-ups)
  • mayonnaise
  • pudding cups
  • fruit cups
  • applesauce cups
  • juice boxes
  • canned chili
Christmas meals:

  • ham or ham steaks
  • turkey gravy
  • canned green beans
  • bag of fresh potatoes
  • butter or margarine
  • canned pineapple
  • graham cracker crust or box of graham crackers
  • boxed instant chocolate pudding
  • whipped cream (8 oz. tub)
Donations may be dropped off Monday through Thursday from 9 am – 4 pm and Friday from 9 am – 12 pm.

We are currently collecting like-new or handmade hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves! All donated items will be given to Solanco Neighborhood Ministries.
