Coming in September:
Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren Painters
Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren Painters will be exhibiting their work at the Quarryville Library from September 25 until November 12. The public is invited to a reception from 1:00-3:00 on Saturday, September 28.
In 2001, a painting class in acrylics was started in the church’s former kitchen with its sinks, storage space and northern exposure. Now a dedicated art studio, every Tuesday you will find Jessie Crotti, Ruth Clark, Betty Lou Epler, Helen Hershey, June Howell, Shirley Jackson, Cinda Showalter, and Nancy Wenger wielding brushes in a flurry of creative fervor. Sianna J. a fifth grader, is also painting with us this summer.
Stop in and check us out any Tuesday from 9:00-3:00. Ring the doorbell on the right wall at the north door or call June Howell, 717-464-9189.
