Summer Reading begins on June 1!

We registered over 3,000 children in last year’s Summer Reading program. We’re hoping we can break another record this year! All ages can participate; the goals are adapted to your child’s age. Adults have a program all their own as well!

If you have an account for your child on Beanstack (or if you’re a teen using the app), you’ll see your reading challenge appear on June 1st – just click on it to begin! If you prefer a paper program form, please come see us at the library.

Babies 0-4 can count each book read during the summer as eligible for both the 1,000 Books Program and Summer Reading. Kids and teens might want to know that we report the finishers to the local school principals in August. And you can count your school-required reading toward your goals in our reading program as well!
