Trivia Night!

Thursday, May 11, 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Best for adults and older (high school age) teens based on the challenge level of questions. Enjoy a night of trivia at the library!  We welcome back Quiz Bowl veteran Phil Gruber as he challenges how much we know! Participate individually or as a team. Maximum 4 people per team. Springtime Walking Book Club

Mother’s Day Sale

Looking for a gift for your mother, wife, or another special person? Stop by the library lobby to browse a selection of jewelry, gifts and baked goods and see what treasures you can find. You might even find something fun for yourself!

Calling All Painters!

Enter the Quarryville Library’s 2023 Open Painting Show!

Amateur and professional painters age 16 and older are invited to enter one or two paintings, with an entry fee of $10 per painting. Entries may be brought to the library on Saturday, May 13 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, May 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Cash prizes ($100 first place, $50 second place) will be awarded in the following categories:

  • Nature (animals, plants, etc.)
  • Earthscape (land, sea, atmosphere, still life, etc.)
  • Humanity (portraits, people)
  • Abstraction
Awards will be announced at 3:00 pm during the opening reception. The exhibit will be available for viewing during regular library hours through Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Click here for more information.

1:1 Computer Help

Millersville University is partnering with us to provide FREE computer and technology help. Drop in on Tuesdays​ (10-3:30), Wednesdays (12-6), or Thursdays (12-6) for assistance customized to your individual needs!​
