Save time and money by picking up all your cookies, cakes, pies, and candy needs for the holidays at this delicious sale. The sale takes place Friday, December 9th from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 to 1:00. For questions, or to donate baked goods, please call Darlene at 291-9718 or stop by the front desk. Donations can be dropped off on Wednesday or Thursday the week of the sale.
Professional photographer Frank G. Heron will be at the library on November 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. to take pictures of your pets for the holidays. The library will be closed for this event, so no worries about bringing a pet to the library. We will have seating in the lobby of the library and pets and their owners will enter by themselves into the Carlson room for a great holiday photo. Photos are 8 X 10 in size and will be delivered to the owner with plenty of time to send out on holiday cards. Photos are $15.00 and all proceeds go to the Friends of the Library. Call the library to schedule your 10 minute photo shoot!

Our Annual Summer Book Sale is being held August 19th 10:00 – 6:00 and August 20th 10:00 – 4:00. There will be an entire room of children’s books, and the Carlson Room will be filled to the brim! Come find your perfect read for fall.

The Friends of the Quarryville Library supports and participates in Operation Paperback.
Operation Paperback is a non-profit organization that collects gently used books and sends them to American troops overseas, as well as veterans and military families here at home. The generous donation of books from our community allows us to participate in this worthwhile endeavor.
